About Us
We are a civil society network committed to creating public spaces in Europe for solidarity with refugees in the Global South. Our focus is on supporting refugee agency in humanitarian action and contributing to reshaping the humanitarian ecosystem in crisis. We believe that refugees are not mere beneficiaries of assistance; they are frontline responders in humanitarian crises.
We stand for agency, not charity, and we promote a shift of power to refugees and their organisations in the humanitarian ecosystem. CALLS Network is animated by connections between volunteers, donors and others concerned in Europe, and refugee communities in the Global South that co-create transformative forms of solidarity and protect human dignity.
